Have you ever looked at someone and automatically judged them? I know I have...Judgement is something we all face.

People use the saying don't judge a book my it's cover.. i find this saying very miss leading ... for example


Personally I look at this book cover, read the title Giraffes can't Dance and I think for the most part I know what this book is about. In my mind this book is going to be a story about a giraffe that well probs one that cant dance.. but one that tries hard and uses his gifts for good...but then again that's just me. But by reading the entire book you'll know it all right..well if you look at this book and the title and decide you don't think you'll like it then why read the rest? I have a hard time looking at someone and doing just that!! Lately I've done this way 2 much! I talked to someone about this and their positivity overwhelmed me. I know that whoever I meet I'll befriend them but I don't always do it while being myself. I find myself wearing a mask to cover up the true me to some people. The thing about it is that we all need help in this subject whether we think so or not. But we.. I need to look for the good in people and stop dwelling on the bad. Then again it's easier said than done...But for me I know that they only way to overcome this is with help from God and by me simply being POSITIVE!!!

Today is Tomorrows Yesturday

If a tree had eyes just think of the things it would see. Trees are an amazing gift of God. They keep our air fresh and they can grow and out live a lot of things on earth. Today I met up with my best friend and her god mother for a small Christmas party we do every year. Being in her house made me think...I was overwhelmed....the memories that became visible in my mind were amazing. Over the years growing up with these two wonderful people makes me think of everything I tend to overlook. What have I missed? The problem is that we as humans go through everyday life going through the motions. A schedule has become all that we know. Time...time holds us back... we are supposed to be here at this time, that gives me 8 minutes to get there in order for that thing to start at 4!!! WHAT IS THIS? We need to slow down. Take a deep breath...Don’t smell the roses!! Eff the roses there is soo much more that we pass everyday that gets no recognition. Thanks... Remember to give thanks! God did this for us, he made color for us to enjoy, he crafted each individual living thing on this earth and we get soo caught up in life we forget....forget to say thanks.. God has such a wonderful plan that we will never know but the least we could do for him while he shows us our purpose is to appreciate his works and creations...NEXT time while you’re speeding through life give it a try.. Slow down and soak in the surrounding atmosphere and don’t look for the bad look towards the POSITIVE!!!

Feel like God just hates you sometimes? Personally I always take my problems and blame God for trying to test me and make me stronger... and I hate it... A wise friend once told me that God does test us but not always with bad or hard situations! God however is there during those times but not to see if we will become stronger... but to hold us and comfort us through the hurt and pain.
Jordin Sparks in a recent song called Faith shows the listener that good can come out of bad but we can't always see that until the climax of the pain is reached. God is always there for us and will be there during the weakest moments in our lives. Look for good be POSITIVE!!!

Deck what halls

Santa...who is he? Jolly ole St. Nicholas a man... a man with a heart and a passion to serve others less fortunate. Christmas a time where SANTA comes and gives presents to children 1-92 (once you're 93 you're not really worth Santa’s time anymore according to the Christmas Song) A giving heart is what Santa's all about. Children love the idea of a strange fat man coming into their house ONCE a year to give them stuff....Where has our world gone??






Jesus!!!! Another man with a giving spirit a man looking to not only give presents but love and forgiveness to ANYONE...365 days a year anytime unlike Santa. I ask myself why didn't I look at Christmas as a time of thanks... a time to fall on my face to the one who truly loves me. Gifts are for the present love and Joy are for a life time. Also unlike Santa Clause Jesus loves us from the time we are conceived to the very moment we die....the best thing is that it still doesn't STOP he goes on loving when no one can.

Lets teach our children how to love and not want. Giving is a gift not only from your wallet but from your heart. Receiving can be speculated into greed. CHRISTmas needs to be kept real and not shoved aside where it can't be seen.... Lets keep the real meaning next year... But don't receive God only on Christmas and Easter but all year round. Try not to go to him just for something but go with thanks and appreciation. God will keep you pure and POSITIVE!

What is faith? Asking my professors at a Christian college they were shocked to hear this question. But do we know? If you do props to you!! I heard that you'll know what faith is when you start a relationship with God. Then again how do you know your relationship with your Heavenly Father is strong enough? You gotta have FAITH! Questions boil in my mind all the time. Why do I make things harder than they should be? I like to have proof of my beliefs. These questions will come back to Christians through their journey. What will we say? I'd be speechless! Words would flee from my mouth and leave me and the one I'm talking to stumped and confused. Not only have I stumbled in this explanation but now I’m on the same level as the non believer pondering the same thought or idea. We as Christians need to be ready. Not to convert!!!! Pressure never turns out good. But to explain true knowledge! Give this person and yourself satisfactory of the subject in which is being debated. Christians, a word people cringe at. Why don’t we as believers stop labeling ourselves? We are Gods children; he loves us no matter what. Whether you're Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Christian, or anything else....If you truly have the FAITH and the REALTIONSHIP with God and you KNOW for a FACT that God sent his ONLY son to earth to suffer and die on a cross for OUR sins and raised from the dead... well... that's all we really need isn't it? Being a college student has made me question my beliefs. I always end up falling back on the fact that I believe in God whole heartedly and I know what he did... there's just something missing in the equation that I haven't figured out. In time... Time is knowledge if you use it to your advantage. Make something of yourself BE POSITIVE!!!!
